The Alternative Family

Introducing alternative families to small kids can be difficult. Now you have a children's book to help you. Whether yours a single parent, menage à trois or more, gay, lesbian, bi, serial monogamic or just the pretty old fashioned hetero couple "Else-Marie and the Seven Little Daddies" a 1990 swedish children book may be useful.
It tells the story of a little girl called Else-Marie. She belongs to an alternative family. The fact is that she has not just one regular size father but instead 7 tiny ones. Then her friends at school find out she is "different" ...
The book was written and ilustrated by Pija Lindenbaum.

Um livro útil para explicar às crianças o que são familias alternativas. Aplicável a todas as modalidades familiares (mono e poligamicas, LBGT, mãe/pai solteiro, etc..). "Else-Marie and the 7 Little Daddies" é um livro sueco de 1990 que conta a história da Elsa Maria uma menina que vive no seio de uma familia alternativa: em vez de um só papá tem 7 pequenos papás. Um dia os seus amiguinhos da escola descobrem que ela é "diferente"....
A autora é Pija Lindenbaum que também ilustrou o livro.


Aqui para nós que ninguém nos ouve isto de 7 papás não parece ser útil, já um papá com 7 mãos seria excelente!
